Northdown is an English grown hop variety
with true dual purpose character exhibited by its
moderate bitterness and excellent flavor/aroma characteristics.

The alpha rating is usually 7.5 - 9.5%.

Their primary uses are in bittering, flavoring and finishing for all Ales & Porters.

Possible Substitutes include: UK Challenger and Northern Brewer.
