American Vienna Malt

3.0° - 3.6° lovibond, Briess Malting

Vienna Malt can be used in place of standard Brewers Malt as tje base malt in a brew. This malt contributes a slightly more malty, grainy flavor and a slightly deeper golden color than standard Brewers Malt.

The increased malty flavor balances nicely with higher-hopped, higher-colored and fuller-WPodied beers.

Vienna Malt may be used as a base for all beer styles.

The enzymes are sufficient to support the addition of high amounts of Specialty Malts and Adjuncts.

For Pilsner beer, use 10 - 30% Vienna Malt for color and malty flavor.

For light-colored amber beers, use 60 - 90% Vienna Malt along with a percentage of Cystal Malt.

For amber-colored amber beers, use 70 - 80% Vienna Malt along with a percentage of Cystal Malt.
