Red Cherry Ale Home Brew Extract Recipe Kit

I made this recipe for a friend of mine. The beer comes out with plenty of head and a nice body, but the cherry flavor is faint after 6 weeks, and fades thereafter. Overall, not a bad recipe, but not as cherry flavored as I would like.
