Smash Pale Ale Home Brew Extract Recipe Kit

The first rule of any type of engineering is KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid. Well, this recipe is about as stupid simple as it gets because it is a SMASH: Single Malt And Single Hop. It’s a recipe built in the same style as the best rock n roll, efficient machines, and lifestyle choices: it is simply one DME and one hop. The hop featured in this kit is Cashmere, which is a blend between old school Cascade and the hop gem of California Common ales: Northern Brewer. It starts in the boil with a floral, grapefruit bitterness only to finish with a bouquet of lime, lemon, and coconut. Pair it with US-05 for an unique yet familiar American Pale Ale. If your craving a yeast to contribute tropical notes, a drier finish, and a higher ABV, consider using OYL-200. Either way, the Choose Your Own Adventure SMASH Pale Ale is great to drink all evening long and into the night.
