Big Brew 2026

Help us celebrate the 38th annual
National Homebrew Day!!!

Held on the first Saturday in May, Big Brew is a celebration of recognization of National Homebrew Day. It is an opportunity to fire up the kettle and raise a glass to the greatest hobby there is— homebrewing!

Since 1988, the US Congress has recognized the first Saturday in May as National Homebrew Day. The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) created AHA Big Brew as an annual event to celebrate National Homebrew Day around the world.  Alternative Beverage has been hosting this event in the Charlotte since it's inception. This event is open to all clubs, home brewers, and beer enthusiasts.
