Specifically for making India Pale Ale, or to impart some of the oak characteristics derived from barrel aging. Enough to treat 1 batch. Steam for 10-15 minutes. Add to secondary for 2 days prior to bottling. Longer additions will impart a bourbon flavor characteristic.
