Our English Light Ale is actually a fabrication of Brewmaster’s Select. It was designed to bridge the gap between the lighter (malt & hops wise) American beers and heartier English style ales. It is golden in color and not as hoppy as some of the traditional styles of English ales. This beer is only slightly bitter, due to it’s use of English hops, and milder in body than true English styles. It is well carbonated with good head retention. As with the majority of English ales, the nose has a slightly estery quality.
