In standard 3/8" siphon as well as 1/2"
5/16" ID tubing fits tight but is MOST HIGHLY recommended,
3/8" ID tubing fits a little too loose,
6 feet or more recommended. A clamp can be used to elevate off the bottom - out the sediment.

Worked good until it broke. It broke where the the tube was curved, most likely weakened when the tube was heated to bend. Of course it broke just when it was needed.
