This is the most popular floor model that we sell, mainly due to its price.
The floor model is 27.5" tall and automatically adjusts for the varying height of the bottles. The lever action of this corker compresses and inserts the cork into place quite effortlessly. The iris of the Portuguese model is made of a hard and durable plastic. I am unaware of anyone encountering a problem with this corker even with extensive use.
The guard in the lower view can be adjusted for bottles with large rim bottles and can be reversed for right handed or left handed use.

Easy to assemble. Easy to set debth on plunger arm. I wish I had skipped the double lever corker and gone straight to this one. This is definately worth the money. Switching between 1.5 ltr and 750 ml bottles requires a slight adjustment to screw on plunger for proper cork insertion. Bottles lock in place during process. I have used this for 3 batches of wine, and unit seems quite sturdy.
