Potassium Sorbate prevents the restart of fermentation. It should be used prior to the bottling of ALL WINES, except champagnes.
Use: for a dry wine, add 1/4 teaspoon per gallon to your finished wine that will be bottled.
Wait 24 hours before bottling a dry wine
For a wine to be sweetened, add 1/2 teaspoon for a finished wine.
Wait 24 hours before sweeten to taste prior to bottling.
1 ounce of Stabilizer is enough to treat 34 gallons of wine to be sweetened.
